Vanilla sugar is the easiest thing in the world to make. Just throw your empty beans into an airtight jar and pour sugar on top. Let it sit for a week or two and use.
I have had these beans for years, when the sugar starts getting low, I just add more to replenish.
Especially good in coffee and on strawberries.
I used to do this, but had completely forgotten until this post... thanks for the reminder. I love the smell when you open the jar!
