Picnic Brunch

It was a gorgeous weekend here in Ohio.  Eighty degrees is so rare in October that there were hoards of people out enjoying the weather.  We headed to our local metropark and cooked Sunday brunch steps away from the river.

There were quiche in a jar, eggs with feta & spinach, pan fried potatoes, sausage, bacon, all kinds of cinnamon rolls, croissants, and donuts and amazing grilled grapefruit.  Don’t tell the park ranger, but we even snuck some mimosas.  It was perfection.  We already have plans to do it again when the weather turns chilly and make use of the gorgeous stone fireplace.

  2. What a fun time outside! You have to enjoy these gorgeous days because when it's snowing, that's all we will wish for.

  3. What a great idea, Michelle! I think maybe we will follow your lead and have brunch outside sometime this week; Eli would love it. Also -- holy cow! That baby is not Tate. Right?? Waaay to big to be Tate....right?
