Just a Day.

 

Fresh Air.

It’s getting colder here, the fall weather has moved in.  We’ve been trying to get the kiddos outside as much as possible to get some fresh air.  Days are fast approaching  when we’ll be bundled up in the house.

Earlier this week, Finn pushed Tate around in the driveway while Dave and I were cleaning up dinner.  She was in her jammies and Finn was sprinting.  It was ridiculous to watch and she loved every minute.

We made Scrabble tile pendants using this tutorial, each with a different design.  Then we packaged them up with tiny kraft paper bags and a ribbon.

And it’s Monday…

One of my current favorites for your Monday morning pleasure.

I’m having my gallbladder out in a couple weeks and the pre-op testing is this week.  Ick.  I had an attack about 6 weeks ago and haven’t had one since, but apparently they can reappear with a vengeance so I’m being proactive and getting it yanked.  My surgeon is amazing and says it will just be a quick 45 minutes and I should be on my way home.  Let's keep our fingers crossed, shall we?

I can’t help but be a little off put by the crazy amounts of medical time I’ve had these last 12 months.  Hello?  Universe?  I’m ready to be done with all the medical crap any time now.  

Onto more fun stuff, did anyone else watch PanAm last night?  My sister and I were furiously texting each other, I think this is going to be one of our new favorites.  Love the clothes, love the music, love Christina Rici.

Well it didn’t take long for me to become utterly addicted to Words with Friends.  Do you play?

My friend Stacy is doing 2 random acts of kindness each month for 6 months, hop over and give her some ideas!

Dave found a pumpkin roll at the grocery last night.  Fall has really arrived.  Bring on the pumpkin!

I’m also all about the Salted Caramel Mocha.  Have you tried one yet?  It just might top the pumpkin spice this year.
