My mom’s rooftop is just about the best place in the entire city to watch the fireworks. Every year she cooks an amazing dinner and we have a really relaxed evening watching all of the boats on the river, the people heading down to Promenade Park, and listening to the Mud Hens game across the street. This year, she stocked Finn up with those snap things you throw on the ground, party poppers with confetti, and sparklers. He was in absolute heaven, he even climbed into his pajamas early so he could snuggle up with Gigi. Little Miss Tate slept through both the Hens’ fireworks show AND the main event without a peep.
