You all are getting a brain dump today. I know you’re so looking forward to it, don’t all contain your excitement at once.

Would anyone like a copy of Matt Logelin’s book, Two Kisses for Maddy? I am finished with mine, it’s been sitting on my dresser for a month, and I’d love to pass it along to one of you. I’ve been reading Matt’s blog on and off for years, the book is a departure from his usual style of writing, but their story is so amazing and heartwarming that you can’t help but fall a little in love with their family and the strength it takes to endure.
It will go to the first person who sends me an email with their address, I’ll pop it in the mail tomorrow morning.

UPDATE: The book is going to it’s new home at Jenn’s house! Thanks so much for all the interest, I wish I had one to give to the others that came in just behind her. Congrats Jenn!

Today, I’m making a giant “to do” list. We have an obscene amount of little stupid projects to get done around here. You know I’m guessing that Dave is cringing just reading this. Want to know the reasoning for the list, other than my love of lists?
I had a dream last night that I went into labor. For some reason, my OB took me to a different hospital {that doesn’t even deliver babies} and I woke up in a panic. Like complete breakdown mode that this baby is coming {and duh, she really is} and I have nothing done! NOTHING DONE!
I am nothing if not consistently weird, eh?

Michale Buble? Totally dreamy and HILARIOUS. I was a little surprised at how entertaining he was outside of the singing. If you get the chance to see him, do it.
He also told a great story about how his limo driver took him to his brother’s pizza place at 2:30 in the morning, woke him up and had him make MB pizza… it just happened to be across the street from my mom’s house. Sigh. If only she had woken up, realized that hottie boy was down there eating pizza, and called her daughter. I would have requested about 20 songs in between bites of pepperoni.

I am looking for a good shower/tub cleaner. I’m not sure why the perfect shower cleaner is such an elusive item, but I’ve tried a ton with zero luck! I want something that is relatively easy and can be used on tile. I’ve tried the shower squirter thingy that you just press the button and I wasn’t super impressed, plus Dave always forgot to press the button rendering it useless. What do you use?

Recently, a few of my fave bloggers have been doing Q&A posts. You can ask anything you’d like. Is there something that you’d like to ask about me, blogging, our family, or just random shit you’re curious about? If so, leave a comment with your question and I’ll do a post soon answering all of them. You can also shoot me an email with questions if you’d like.
Go on… ask!
Pretty sure my favorite thing Buble said was when he introduced his sax player as "a dirty, dirty slut." Brilliant. BTW, I looked for you! (We were in the upper level)
ReplyDeleteI so want to see Buble in concert. I'm jealous that you have.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering - are you full time home with Finn? If so, what did you do before you had him?
Mmmm, the shower? I don't know about the best cleaner, but I do know that a combo of using a squeegee and rag (for corners) to wipe it down after showering makes it stay cleaner, longer. Of course we have a glass door and smooth walls. Still, a chamois rag to wipe the tile & grout would help.
ReplyDeleteI don't know...do you have the Method brand up there? I love the Method Eucalyptus bath cleaner. It smells awesome too!
ReplyDeleteQuestions!! Hmm!!!
1. If you could attend one event past, present or future what would it be and why? (ie Royal Wedding, Oscars, Civil Rights March)
Clorox Clean Up spray with bleach--that stuff is awesome! If you get any bit of mildew, you spray--leave it--it disappears without scrubbing! I love the stuff.
ReplyDeleteBrain dump - haha, I like that!
ReplyDeletelove the buble. i like to boast that i've met him. this was before, of course, before he got "big." when his tickets were still 37 dollars for the cheap seats. now the cheap seats are like 100. no thank you, buble, for i knew ye then.
ReplyDeleteLOVED Two kisses for Maddy!!! I follow his blog as well and couldn't put the book down.
ReplyDeleteSo, my question....have you chosen baby girl's name? :)
