Can I tell you how much you guys rock? Thanks to the lovely Cape on the Corner I have just spent the better part of a day looking through Houzz. If you love house related eye candy, go there and check it out, just be prepared to spend ALL day gasping at the loveliness.
Here are the bedrooms that I love. None are really similar. I love them all for different reasons. And now it’s my job to figure out how this is supposed to translate into our new bedroom. I’ve decided that my main goal for the room is to design a space that makes us want to dive into bed each night and make us want to snuggle up in the mornings. The picture is starting to become a little clearer though.
What incredible rooms! If those don't inspire you, I'm not sure what would:)
ReplyDeleteoooohhh, i love the one with the pale blue walls and the sunburst mirror over the bed.....sooo pretty! i am not even venturing over to that site though.....i have things to do today and i could see several hours of it slipping away as i fantasize over my dream room.....
ReplyDeleteYou must do something similar to the frames on the wall. I think that could really work for you guys.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I couldn't help but notice all the neutral walls. One word. COLOR! ;)
(Says the girl with the technicolor house.)

I think the first is my super favorite. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteit's such a personal space....so follow your heart/gut (whatever you call it) feelings. and i've got to get off the dang computer so i'm am not linking over there....today. or right now. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are the purple and green combo - or the one with pale blue walls the brown bench at the foot of the bed and all the floral pillows.
ReplyDeleteNice.
That third photo looks like the bedroom of my dreams. Stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by on my SITS day! :)
i want to live in #6. love it.
ReplyDeleteThe 2nd one makes me feel nervous...I like all the other ones though!
ReplyDeleteIs there anywhere that gives you more info about the stuff used in these rooms? I like the paint color in the first one, but I didn't see the name of it anywhere.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the first one...
ReplyDeleteI love the one with the aqua walls and mirror. I guess because it reminds me of my current bedroom - I did something good after all! haha
ReplyDeleteNow I just need that mirror.....
You've always got such fabulous taste! Love these photos. The one correlation I draw is that these all look warm, cozy, lived in, and anything but sterile. You've chosen ones with great character that are farthest away from a cold museum. I can't wait to see how you turn your room into pure genius!
ReplyDeleteYep, the one with the blue-ish walls and the ceiling fan - that's what I was trying to describe the other day! Except I used the same dark brown that's on the bed in the curtain panels (looks great against the walls), and the wall color in throw pillows. I guess it's good my job doesn't involve verbally describing rooms! Ha!
ReplyDeleteLove these pics. I love being inspired by this kind of eye candy! Now I just wish I had the money to live out my inspirations!
I think you can take certain element from each room and come up with a gorgeous bedroom. Those are great inspiration pics!
ReplyDeleteYummy eye candy here!
ReplyDeleteOoh I love Houzz and your right, days of my life have been spent drooling over those photos:) My fav is the eclectic room with the white walls and all the pictures on the wall! Gorgeous.
